INFOPAC 2024 (formerly the Pacific IO & EW Symposium) will take place in Honolulu, HI from October 22-25, 2024 (exhibits days will be October 22 and 23). This annual event is USINDOPACOM's only professional development, international engagement, and operational problem-solving event focused on the Information Related Capabilities that comprise Joint IO. USINDOPACOM Personnel, Service Component Commands, allied partners, and industry contractors are encouraged to participate in this official event. With the heightened activity in the region, we are looking forward to collaboration, idea sharing, and improving USINDOPACOM's ability to operate more effectively in support of a Free and Open Indo-Pacific. Industry Exhibits will take place in conjunction with the unclassified segment of the conference at the Alohilani Hotel. Industry partners and academic institutions are invited to display programs, products, technology and services of interest to USINDOPACOM. Registration is required. Overview:The purpose of the symposium is to bring together government, military, industry, academia, small business, and other stakeholders for discussions on the operational challenges facing the practitioners of these IRCs, and to explore possible technological and tactics/procedural solutions. To stimulate wider interest and inquiry into these issues, the symposium and related activities and events will be open to registration by government, industry and academia representatives without regard to their AOC membership status (both AOC Members and non-members may register) except that access of foreign and any other persons may be restricted as necessary in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The agenda will focus on the role of information operations in maintaining the conditions for continued peace and stability within the region and will feature presentations and panels from senior U.S. Department of Defense leaders. The 2024 ANTICIPATED format will be as follows:
- October 21- Virtual briefings will be conducted on Monday with an invite only social that evening for visiting allied and partner military, meet and greet social sponsors, and INDOPACOM J39 and Service Component IO and EW personnel.
- October 22 & 23 - Unclassified plenaries/briefings and keynote sessions will take place in-person at the Alohilani in conjunction with exhibits. An evening reception follows at the end of the first day in the exhibit area.
- October 24 & 25 - CLASSIFIED plenary sessions begin with the morning session set at S/REL TO USA, DEU, FRA, JPN, KOR, AND FVEY. That afternoon and the following day are set at SECRET.
Past Attendance:
The 2023 symposium hit capacity with over 400 in-person attendees, including 90+ Allied and partner military officers from 15 other countries. This was the first year that Indonesia attended and presented. Participating nations included: United States, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom. The J39 held the highest number of bilateral engagements in the history of the symposia series. Altogether between the UNCLAS and S/REL plenary sessions there were over 40 unique sessions/presentations.
DoD and other government agencies in attendance included USINDOPACOM (including PACAF, USARPAC, MARFORPAC), USSOCOM (including SOCPAC, USASOC, ), USSTRATCOM, USCYBERCOM, USMC, The Joint Staff, OSD, ANG, USSPACECOM, NSA, Department of State, Office of Naval Research, NDU, Naval Postgraduate School, and GSA to name a few.

No US cybersecurity division deals with this tricky trifecta daily, except for the exceptional team at NOAA. Covering from sea to space, NOAA provides minute-to-minute data about the conditions of our oceans, our major waterways and our atmosphere. And to do it without any interruptions, they rely heavily on a secure and resilient global network infrastructure.
So that NOAA's Cybersecurity Division is prepared for every worst-case digital scenario, their Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) hosts an annual NOAA IT Security Conference. This year's event includes briefings from various NOAA components and industry leaders. There will be an impressive speaker lineup and a vendor meet and greet.
Last year's popular event boasted 300 attendees, the vast majority of whom met with vendors during the multiple conference breaks (including the dedicated time for industry meet and greet).

DISA J6 is hosting their Cyber Awareness Forum with an in-person opportunity for industry to present and network with the top DISA J6 cybersecurity gate keepers.
The theme for this event will be determined soon, but each forum is designed to help DISA J6 examine the agencies' cybersecurity readiness, learn better security practices, complete trainings, and look for new technologies to protect their cyberspace.

FBC is proud to be conducting an Industry Day at Kennedy Space Center in association with the 3rd Annual SmallSat Education Conference at Kennedy Space Center scheduled for Oct. 26-27, 2024. The Industry Day will be held prior to the SmallSat Conference in the AMF Center for Space Education Building at Kennedy Space Center. The Industry Day is scheduled to take place from 10am - 2pm before the evening banquet taking place on Friday night, 10/25/24. All Kennedy Space Center employees and contractors will be invited to attend the Industry Day as well as those coming in for the SmallSat Conference. About Kennedy Space Center from the NASA Strategic Plan - Kennedy Space Center: Strategic Goal 3: Catalyze Economic Growth and Drive Innovation to Address National Challenges. KSC supports research, development, testing, and demonstration of advanced flight and surface systems and transformational technologies to advance exploration systems, human and cargo landers, and deep space systems. From the NIH Strategic Plan:NIH will support a broad, balanced portfolio of basic research across a wide range of scientific disciplines, a portfolio that will be complemented by vigorous support of innovations in technology and data science. In addition, PMI will offer researchers the ability to test whether mobile technologies are useful in adapting preventive strategies to individuals’ needs and preferences, enhancing delivery of interventions and improving monitoring of compliance and outcomes. PMI will pioneer efforts to merge, integrate and analyze data from a wide variety of sources with implications for prevention, including basic biological data, health status NIH-Wide Strategic Plan 26 information from electronic health records, individual data on environmental exposures, geospatial data on community environmental exposures and so on."

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Industry Day conference will be hosted by Office of Acquisition and Grants Management (OAGM) both in-person at CMS Headquarters (HQ) and virtually and open to roughly 4,000 attendees in total. The one-day conference is scheduled for December 17, 2024. The format will include briefings from various CMS components, executive leaders, and industry leaders, including breakout sessions. Sponsorships and Exhibitor spaces (both in-person and virtual) will be available based on the needs of OAGM, including in-person tabletop displays by both small and large businesses available for information exchange and networking. Office of Acquisition and Grants Management (OAGM) Functional Statement:
- Serves as the Agency's Head of the Contracting Activity. Plans, organizes, coordinates and manages the activities required to maintain an agency-wide acquisition program.
- Serves as the Agency's Chief Grants Management Official, with responsibility for all CMS discretionary grants.
- Ensures the effective management of the Agency's acquisition and grant resources.

- Provides cost/price analyses and evaluations required for the review, negotiation, award, administration, and closeout of grants and contracts. Provides support for field audit capability during the pre-award and closeout phases of contract and grant activities.
- Develops and maintains the OAGM automated procurement management system. Manages procurement information activities (i.e., collecting, reporting, and analyzing procurement data).
